<p>A transport chair device (1) for disabled persons (2), wherein the chair has a front frame (3) with a front pair of wheels (4) and a rear frame (5) with a rear pair of wheels (6) pivotally mounted (7) therein, a seat frame (8), a backrest (9) and a footrest (10). The rear frame (5) and the seat frame (8) are made in a single piece, and the front frame (3) is pivotally attached (11) to the seat frame (8), can be folded in towards the seat frame (8) and the rear frame (5), and has means (12) for limiting its forward rotational movement relative to the seat frame. The backrest (9) is height-adustable and provided at the top with handgrips (13). The front frame (3), the seat frame (8) and the rear frame (5), the backrest (9), the footrest (10) and the said pairs of wheels (4, 6) are made of one or more non-metallic materials.</p> |
