INDEPENDENT AZIMUTH THRUSTER FOR SRTP

The present invention provides an independent azimuth thruster for the safe return to a port (SRTP) of a passenger boat which has an engine room (14) and a steering gear room (16) on a hull (10) thereof. The independent azimuth thruster comprises: a chamber (20) formed on the bottom surface of the hull (10); and an omnidirectional propeller (30) stored in the chamber (20) to be able to be drawn from the chamber. Accordingly, the independent azimuth thruster is capable of reducing materials and the number of materials in a manufacturing process by arranging the engine room and the steering gear room, which are arranged in two separate rooms, in one room in accordance with the application of the safe return to a port of a passenger boat.
