PURPOSE: An automatic transfer system and method of voice message is to store a message to be transferred to a destination phone number during absence of the destination phone number side and automatically reproduce the stored message at a designated time. CONSTITUTION: A transfer time of a voice message, a destination phone number and a calling connection trial times are set and input during absence of the destination side. A voice message is recorded. It is determined whether the transfer time of the voice message reaches. When the transfer time reaches, a calling connection to the destination phone number is tried. When the call is connected and a voice of the destination side is recognized, the voice message is transferred. If the destination side's line is busy, the calling connection is repeatedly tried by the designated calling connection trial times. As the call is connected to the destination side through repeated calling connection and the voice of the destination side is recognized, the input voice message is transferred to the destination side.
