RELAY DEVICE HAVING SELECTION FUNCTION OF CONNECTION CHANNEL IN INTEGRATED SERVICES DIGITAL NETWORK

PURPOSE: A relay device having a selection function of a connection channel in an ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network) is provided to selectively use an exclusive line of a video phone with a 6B+D channel, required when connecting exclusive terminals such as a key phone system or a PABX(Private Area Branch Exchanger). CONSTITUTION: A relay device having a selection function of a connection channel in an ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network) comprises: a downward data receiver for receiving data outputted from an exchanger; a downward data transmitter for transmitting a regular frame of the received data to a terminal in a different way with a receiving speed; an upward data speed converter for variably outputting the regular frame in a different speed with the receiving speed; and a controller for selectively controlling a B channel which is a data transmitting/receiving channel with the terminal and a D channel. The controller selectively controls arbitrary one pair of a B1 channel and a B2 channel or a 6B channel and a D channel which are connection channels of the terminal. The downward data transmitter variably transmits 512Kbps data outputted from the exchanger to a 2Mbps transmitting speed.
