The connection has stamped earth tongues (21) on one of the two ends of the plate lamella (19) forming the stator plate packet (1) for the fixed attachment of the earth conductor. The earth tongues have a free end (25) bent up out of the plane of the plate lamella that protrudes with respect to the end of the stator plate packet. An Independent claim is also included for a method of making an earth conductor connection.
