The present invention relates to a method for increasing lipid production of yeast using cheese whey and a method for producing biofuel using the same. In the method of the present invention, a waste cheese whey is treated and is used for producing a huge amount of biofuel with use of yeast by increasing the production of lipid. Therefore, the method of the present invention using cheese whey is expected to be widely used in a cheese whey re-treatment and an industry related to biofuel.
