This optical display device production system (1) is provided with: bonding units (13, 15, 18) which bond sheet pieces (FXm) cut from an optical member sheet (FX) wider than the display region (P4) of an optical display member (P) to a first surface and a second surface of said optical display member; and a cutting unit (40) which, from the sheet pieces bonded to the first surface and second surface of said optical display member, cuts away the excess portion arranged outside of the portion of the sheet pieces that corresponds to the display region, and which forms an optical member having a size corresponding to the display region on first surface and a second surface of said optical display member.
