The present invention relates to a method for predicting generation of delamination of a drawn wire rod even without a mechanical test, and a manufacturing method of a drawn wire rod having excellent strength and torsion properties without delamination. The method for predicting delamination according to the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a drawn wire rod sample; detecting ferrite or cementite; measuring segregated carbon content of a transformed ferrite or carbon content of cementite; and determining that delamination is generated if the segregated carbon content is 5 at.% or more, or the carbon content of cementite is 17.5-20.0 at.%.
