<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for decoding in raptor codes, and more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for decoding in raptor codes, which can exchange first soft decision decoded information generated from one LT decoder and second soft decision decoded information generated from another LT decoder between the LT decoders, and repeatedly decode an LP code and an LDPC code to calculate and output an estimation value of an information word encoded in raptor codes. According to the present invention, provided is the apparatus for decoding in raptor codes which includes: an LT decoder for receiving an information word encoded in the raptor codes and decoding an LT code of the information word encoded in the raptor codes to generate and output the first soft decision decoded information; and an LDPC decoder for receiving the first soft decision decoded information for decoding an LDPC code of the first soft decision decoded information to generate second soft decision decoded information, for transferring the second soft decision decoded information to the LT decoder, and for calculating an estimation value of the information word to output the estimation value.</p> |
