SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

The present invention relates to a swash plate type compressor, including a suction check valve which prevents excessive pressure increase of a damping chamber and improves performance. The swash plate type compressor can regulate the opening degree of the suction check valve using differential pressure between a suction port and a suction chamber as well as pressure inside a crank chamber when adjusting the suction amount of a refrigerant flowing into the suction port using the suction check valve. A hole for communicating with the suction chamber is formed on a case of the suction check valve in order to induce a path of refrigerant gas toward the damping chamber through a gap between a pressure transmitting rod and the case, to the suction chamber. Therefore, the swash plate type compressor can prevent excessive pressure increase in the damping chamber and improve performance thereof.
