The present invention relates to a method for preparing an electrode, the electrode prepared by using the same, and an electrochemical device comprising the electrode. The method for preparing the electrode comprises the steps of spreading an active material on a current collector; electrically connecting the current collector with a sacrificial electrode; and drying the active material. The method for preparing the electrode prevents the electrode current collector from being oxidized in a process for preparing the electrode by a simple method, reduces defect rate when preparing the electrode, and reduces loss cost caused by disposal of an electrode in which defect occurs. Also, the method for preparing the electrode utilizes the remaining materials generated when preparing the electrode, thereby being eco-friendly.
