Portable device with image sensors and multi-core processor

A portable device that has first and second image sensors and a central processor. The central processor has a first sensor interface and a second sensor interface for receiving data from the from the first and second image sensors respectively such that the data is simultaneously processed in the multiple processing units. The central processor integrates the multiple processing units and the first and second sensor interfaces onto a single chip.

first and second image sensors; and, a central processor including:
multiple processing units, anda first sensor interface and a second sensor interface for receiving data from the first and second image sensors, respectively, such that the multiple processing units concurrently process the data; wherein concurrently processing the data by the multiple processing units comprises executing image processing instructions that are stored in a memory and correspond to a signal that is associated with a user selectable graphic representative of a manipulation to the data.
