An embodiment of the present invention provides a lighting device capable of getting its own address automatically registered through transmitting the address via visible light communication (VLC). The lighting device includes: a control unit which generates on-off signals based on unique address information; a light source which is lit up by the on-off signal and emits visible light containing the unique address information. Accordingly, each lighting device can transmit its own address via VLC, and a user can automatically receive the address of the lighting device right above her through a tablet or other mobile devices which has the map information of the location of the lighting device and register the lighting device accordingly. |
