The present invention relates to an icon-based application advertising system and a method therefor. The system comprises: a manager terminal which transmits an application registration request signal including an application file and icon setting information to a service server; the service server which stores the application file and the icon setting information and transmits the application file to a user terminal, when an application installation request is received from the user terminal; and the user terminal where the application file received from the service server is installed, wherein the user terminal displays an icon form the installed application on a screen, wherein application related information included in the icon setting information is changed and displayed at a preset time interval on the icon displayed on the user terminal. |
