The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for processing molten iron dropped from a torpedo ladle car. The apparatus includes at least one molten iron transfer car for guiding and discharging molten iron dropped from a torpedo ladle car; and a molten iron pit for storing the molten iron discharged from the molten iron transfer car. Also, the apparatus may include a rail installed below the molten iron transfer car to guide the molten iron transfer car, and the molten iron transfer car may has a moving wheel moving along the rail.
