FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a support and retainer structure for individuals unable to keep adequate and functional posture, and aims at improving a possibility to adapt the structure to individual requirements. The support and retainer structure comprises a support component part extended substantially along a longitudinal axis of the structure, and a retaining member attached across the support component part and configured to surround the individual's body. The support component part consists of adjacent modular units enable being locked in a stable position and disassembled by clamps, while an assembly of the modular units can be adapted to the individual's posture taking into account his/her spine characteristics when the structure is in use. The clamps comprise fasteners, like a nut and a bolt used to fasten the modular units selectively in the adjusted position, as well as two coupling elements, which elongated parts are aligned with the corresponding parts of the support component part and which are located respectively between the transverse retaining members and the support component part and between the support component part and the above nuts or bolts.EFFECT: structural improvement.11 cl, 8 dwg |
