<p>The present invention provides a fishing wire reel base and a fishing rod, namely provides a fishing wire reel base that hands will not be oppressive and not be hurt even after long time of using through improvement to structure of a cover section. A base body (10) on stipulated position of a tail rod (3) is provided with a cover section (7, 8) that maintains a foot section (5A) of a spinning reel (5).
