PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of performing focus adjustment easily while achieving reduction of weight and a cost.SOLUTION: A projector 1 which projects to display an image on the basis of input image information includes: a focus adjustment part 341 for performing focus adjustment of a projected image; a guidance screen generation part 87 for generating a guidance screen to assist the focus adjustment of the image by the focus adjustment part 341; and image display means 3 for projecting to display the image and an image of the guidance screen. Accordingly, the focus adjustment of the projected image by the focus adjustment part 341 is easily performed by referring to the guidance screen projected by a projection lens 33. |
