PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recip blade having structure and shape capable of reducing oscillation or vibration in a distal portion of the blade even though the recip blade is long.SOLUTION: A recip blade 10 has a blade body 12 and a tang 14 located at one end of the blade body. The blade body includes a distal portion located on an opposite end of the blade body relative to the tang and defining a tip and at least one aperture 20 extending through the blade body, and a cutting edge 26 extending along the blade body between the tang and the tip. The at least one aperture reduces a mass per unit area of the distal portion of the blade body in comparison to a remainder of the blade body. |
