PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve prediction accuracy of the power generation amount of a PV apparatus.SOLUTION: The predicting system predicts the power generation amount of a photovoltaic power generation unit. The predicting system includes a calculation section and a coefficient optimization section. The calculation section calculates a prediction value of power generation amount from a prediction value of solar radiation intensity on the basis of a power generation coefficient for converting solar radiation intensity into power generation amount. The coefficient optimization section adaptively varies a power generation coefficient.
