PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for firmly mounting a vibration control device in a rectangular framework of a building.SOLUTION: A vibration control device 100 for a building includes: a vibration control unit 10; an upper side transmission member 20; a lower side transmission member 30; a reinforcement material 66; and a fastener 67. The lower side transmission member 30 includes: a lower fixed part 30A fixed to a lower side horizontal axis material 60 among a pair of horizontal axis materials 50, 60 of the building 200; and a second unit side fixed part 30B fixed to the vibration control unit 10. Here, the lower fixed part 30A has a bottom plate part 34a arranged along the top face of the lower side horizontal axis material 60. The reinforcement material 66 faces the bottom plate part 34a and is arranged along the underside of the lower side horizontal axis material 60. The bottom plate part 34a and the reinforcement material 66 are fixedly coupled to each other by the fastener 67. |
