Filling element for filling containers (2) with liquid contents, having a liquid channel (8), which is formed in a filling-element housing (7) and to which the liquid contents are fed via a product channel (9), and having a liquid valve (11), by means of which the contents are dispensed in a controlled manner to the container which is to be filled in each case at at least one contents-dispensing opening (12) leading from the liquid channel, wherein the liquid valve has at least one valve element which can be moved, by an actuating device (16, 28), at least between a state in which it blocks the dispensing operation of the contents, and in which the valve element butts against a valve surface (15.2) formed in the liquid channel, and a state in which it opens the liquid valve, and in which the controllable valve element is spaced apart from the valve seat. |
