<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably create a portable recording medium in which a volume having the same identification number as that of the medium is recorded.SOLUTION: When a copy of a first logical volume (LV#01) is required, a control device 3 copies the first logical volume to an unused first recording medium (TP#01) having the same identification number as that of the first logical volume in a case that the copy to the first recording medium is possible. When the copy to the first recording medium is impossible, the control device selects an unused second recording medium (TP#04) from a library device 1, generates a second logical volume (LV#04) having the same identification number as that of the second recording medium changed from the identification number of the first logical volume, and copies the second logical volume to the second recording medium.</p> |
