The present invention relates to a valve having a valve housing (2) and a longitudinally movable valve body (1) arranged therein, the valve housing comprising at least two guide grooves (3) into which auxiliary guide means (4) arranged on the valve body engage from the outside. The guide grooves are shaped such that they define a combined translatory and rotary movement of the valve body with the aid of the auxiliary guide means to open or close the valve.
