<p>An apparatus for processing a plurality of images includes a still image encoder configured to compress the plurality of images to generate still image files; a resize unit configured to resize the plurality of images to generate frame image data; a moving image encoder configured to compress the frame image data corresponding to at least two images to generate a moving image file; and a file generator configured to generate a consecutively captured image file including the still image file and the moving image file. The apparatus provides the advantage of being able to display the captured images as a movie relatively quickly while at the same time providing access to high quality still images of the displayed captured images. A method of controlling the apparatus, and a recording medium having encoded thereon computer executable instructions for controlling the apparatus are disclosed.</p> |
