PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power supply system for illumination capable of preventing an overcurrent or an overvoltage from being generated in a power receiving unit, when lighting a light-emitting element, regardless of the number of power transmitting coils.SOLUTION: A non-contact power supply system 1 for illumination comprises: a power transmission unit 2 including a high frequency power source 8 including switching elements Q1 and Q2 and a power transmitting coil 5; and a power reception unit 3 including a power receiving coil 6, a light-emitting element 10a and a lighting circuit 18. The power transmission unit 2 includes a control circuit 20. When lighting the light-emitting element 10a, the control circuit 20 gradually reduces switching frequencies of the switching elements Q1 and Q2 so as to gradually increase output of the power receiving coil 6. The power transmission unit 2 includes a plurality of high frequency power sources 8 and power transmitting coils 5. When supplying power from each power transmitting coil 5 to the power receiving coil 6 without contact, the control circuit 20 controls the switching elements Q1 and Q2 in such a manner that the switching frequencies of the switching elements Q1 and Q2 become equal. |
