PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll sheet carrying unit capable of preventing the occurrence of rolling looseness even if a carrying direction is in both of a normal direction to draw a roll sheet to a carrying path side or a reverse direction to rewind the roll sheet drawn to the carrying path side.SOLUTION: A roll sheet carrying unit comprises: a roll sheet loading part 10 where a roll sheet 10a wound in a roll state is loaded to be rotatable; guide rollers 51, 52 where outer peripheral surfaces are in contact with side surfaces of the roll sheet 10a loaded to be rotatable in the roll sheet loading part 10 and which are attached to be freely rotatable in a direction to act a rotational force to the roll sheet 10a; and a carriage controller 31 to control the carriage of the roll sheet 10a loaded to the roll sheet loading part 10 in a normal direction drawing to a medium carrying path 3a side and the carriage of the roll sheet 10a drawn to the medium carrying path 3a side in a reverse direction rewinding to the roll sheet loading part 10 side. The carriage controller 31 controls the rotation of the guide rollers 51, 52 according to the carrying direction of the roll sheet 10a. |
