<p>The present invention relates to an error recovery device of electric sign image data and a method thereof. The error recovery device of electric sign image data according to the present invention comprises; an input unit which receives DVI image data from an image output unit; a decoder which decodes the DVI image data and converts it into expressive image data; a comparison unit which detects a decoding completion signal from the converted expressive image data; an expression unit which receives the expressive image data from the decoder unit and expresses it if the decoding completion signal is detected; and a reset unit which outputs a reset signal to the image output unit by the comparison unit if the decoding completion signal is not detected and makes the input unit receive the DVI image data again. The reset signal is automatically outputted and an image signal is received again and a system is recovered if the system which displays an image on an electric sign malfunctions. Therefore, the management of the system is easy because a manager does not have to check the system whenever the system malfunctions.</p> |
