<p>A saddle type vehicle (1) comprising a frame (2), an engine (3) supported by the frame (2), a swing-arm (7) swingably supported on the frame (2), a rear wheel (8) supported on the swing-arm (7), a rear suspension (9) arranged between the engine (3) and the rear wheel (8), an air cleaner (11) arranged on an intake passage, and an exhaust chamber (12) arranged on an exhaust passage wherein at least a portion of the air cleaner (11) is arranged above the rear suspension (9), at least a portion of the exhaust chamber (12) is arranged below the rear suspension (9), the rear suspension (9) extends in a direction intersecting with a vertical direction when viewed from a side of the saddle type vehicle, the rear suspension (9) is coupled to the engine (3) and the swing-arm (7) and a height of the rear suspension (9) in the vertical direction is smaller than a length of the rear suspension (9) in a front-back direction.</p> |
