A hair care appliance comprises a body 30, a heater 80, a PCB 75 and a primary fluid flow path 400 extending from a primary fluid inlet 40 to a primary fluid outlet 440. The PCB 75 and heater 80 are in fluid communication with the primary fluid flow path 400 and the PCB 75 is located upstream of the heater 80. A fan unit 70 may be provided, preferably located upstream of the heater 80 and upstream or downstream of the PCB 75. A thermal barrier 700 may be provided between the PCB 75 and the heater 80. The thermal barrier 700 may be in thermal communication with the PCB 75 and may function as a heat sink for the PCB 75. |
