PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predetermined performance of a softening agent in a washing machine.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises: a water receiving tub 3 having a washing and dewatering tub 4 which can rotate for dewatering inside a washing machine main body; a pulsator 5 freely rotatably arranged on a bottom face of the washing and dewatering tub 4; a softening agent automatic draining device 21 which is arranged on a fluid balancer 20 provided at an upper end of the washing and dewatering tub 4 and drains a softening agent into the water receiving tub 3 before starting the final rinsing step; a softening agent input port 23 which is provided on the fluid balancer 20 and communicates with the softening agent automatic draining device 21; and a lid 26 for the softening agent input port, which covers an opening of the softening agent input port 23. A bearing part 26d, which rotates the lid 26 for the softening agent input port, is provided in the vicinity of the opening of the softening agent input port 23, so that a user can put the softening agent by attaching or detaching a softening agent case 22 storing the softening agent of the softening agent automatic draining device 21. Thus the penetration of water from a top face of the softening agent input port 23 can be reduced in a washing step. |
