PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separator which improves gas-liquid separation efficiency by causing a separated liquid to easily inflow into a liquid reservoir chamber and prevents relatively early clogging of a filter. SOLUTION: The gas liquid separator is obtained by arranging a swirl vane 12 in a circular space 11 formed by a body 1 and an exhaust pipe 10; by linking the upper side of the swirl vane 12 to an entrance 6; by linking the upper side to an exit 7 through an inside opening of the exhaust pipe 10; by linking the under side of a liquid reservoir chamber 15 to a drainage opening 8 by forming a swirl chamber 14 and the liquid reservoir chamber 15 at the underside of the circular space 11; by arranging a cylindrical filter 22 used for fluid filtration and having a bottom head being in a closed state by a plug 23 in between the exhaust pipe 10 and the liquid reservoir chamber 15; by radially arranging plural impinging plates 24 for falling along an axial direction of the filter 22 in between the external wall of the plug 23 and internal walls of a body 1 and a bottom cover 4, for example, four pieces at right and left and at back and forth; and by arranging plural impinging plates 25 in the outer circumference of the filter 22 along the axial direction of the filter 22, for example, disposing four pieces at right and left and at back and forth.
