According to one embodiment, the an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus acquires an ultrasound data by an ultrasound scanning of a patient via an ultrasound probe, generates an ultrasound image using the ultrasound data and displays the ultrasound image; and is provided with a detection unit, a command generation unit, and a control unit. The detection unit detects a non-touch input instruction from an operator. The command generation unit generates an input command in response to the non-touch input instruction. The control unit controls the ultrasound diagnosis apparatus in response to the input command.
