<p>The object of the invention is a synchronous machine, which is controllable by means of a frequency converter connected to it. The synchronous machine comprises a stator winding, which comprises between the synchronous machine's two terminals at least a first sub-coil (U<SUB>pl</SUB>,V<SUB>pl</SUB>,W<SUB>pl</SUB>) and a second sub-coil (U<SUB>p2</SUB>,V<SUB>p2</SUB>,W<SUB>p2</SUB>), onto which a voltage essentially of the same amplitude is induced when the synchronous machine is rotating. Furthermore, the synchronous machine comprises a switching device, by means of which the first sub-coil (U<SUB>pl</SUB>, V<SUB>pl</SUB>, W<SUB>pl</SUB>) and the second sub-coil (U<SUB>p2</SUB>,V<SUB>p2</SUB>,W<SUB>p2</SUB>) are connectible in series with each other when the switching device (K<SUB>1</SUB>;K<SUB>2</SUB>,K<SUB>3</SUB>) is in the rest position in such a way that their voltages are opposite and that the voltage in the terminals (L<SUB>1</SUB>,L<SUB>2</SUB>,L<SUB>3</SUB>) of the synchronous machine is essentially zero when the synchronous machine is disconnected from the frequency converter controlling it.</p> |
