<p>The sliding door includes two panels (4,5) sliding horizontally in a fixed frame made up of four metallic sections (10) each E- shape in section. The sections (10) each form two internally directed longitudinal chambers (20,21) the inner walls of which contain directly opposed grooves (41,44) formed by ribs (42,43,45, 46) into which runners (31) are fitted. The runners act horizontally as a sliding support or vertically as an end-stop for the respective edges of the panels (4,5). Channels (22,24,26,28) are also contained in the inner walls near the mouth of each chamber (20,21) and are used to locate linear sealing strips (23,25,27,29).</p> |
