PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide beauty appliance which enables utilization of a protective cap as a mounting base of a body part and can support the body part safely without the possibility of producing fire even when this part is heated, and in addition, in a stable state, in regard to the beauty appliance including the body part and the protective cap. SOLUTION: The beauty appliance includes the body part 1 equipped with a heating part 17 and the tubular protective cap 2 covering the outside of the heating part 17. A mounting part 25 placed on a mounting surface T and a receiving part 26 supporting the body part 1 are provided on the outer surface of the tubular protective cap 2. The tubular protective cap 2 placed in a lying attitude on the mounting surface T is utilized as the mounting base of the part 1. A plurality of receiving ribs 38, 39 and 40 for supporting the body part 1 while being lifted off the peripheral surface of the tubular protective cap 2 are formed on the peripheral surface of the tubular protective cap 2. A slippage preventing structure preventing slipping movement of the body part 1 is provided on the peripheral surface of the tubular protective cap 2.
