FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the liquid purification equipment and can be used in pipelines of various processing installations operated under pressure and requiring water purification from mechanical impurities affecting the operation of pumps, valves and accessories, heat exchangers and other service appliances. The filter incorporates a case with inlet and outlet the branch pipes, a pipe arranged inside the case and furnished with lengthwise slot-holes and a screen filter element. The pipe is connected with a tapered diffuser. The aforesaid lengthwise slot-holes are made on the said pipe in the diffuser inner part and are arranged regularly along the pipe perimeter. The screen filter element envelopes the pipe. The case is separated into two parts, a lower and upper ones, by means of a throttling annular membrane, the aforesaid lower and upper parts forming an annular slot between them. Here, the case lower part space exceeds that of its upper part. One more similar filter can be furnished parallel to the first one and working liquid streamwise.
