<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for separating copper from a waste electric wire and, more particularly, to an apparatus for separating copper from a waste electric wire which is formed by integrating a drying bath with a wet bath. The drying bath includes an inlet to input the shredded materials of the waste electric wire, a first vibrating unit which applies vibration to the inputted shredded materials and transfers the inputted shredded materials in one direction, a shredded material sorter which sucks air in the shredded materials transferred on the first vibrating unit, upwardly transfers the shredded materials with copper with a small particle size, and separates the copper with the small particle size from the copper with a large particle size, and a cyclone which collects the transferred shredded materials including the small particle size and drops the shredded materials to the wet bath. The wet bath includes a second vibrating unit which applies vibration to the shredded materials with the small particle size dropped from the cyclone and transfers the shredded materials in both directions, and a water spray unit which sprays water to the shredded materials transferred on the second vibrating unit and separates the copper with the small particle size. Thereby, the present invention easily separates the copper from the waste electric wire and increases a copper recovery rate.</p> |
