Malleable mandrel for shaping, using heat treatment, flexible tubes and hoses, characterised in that it consists of a shapeable core (6) and of a polymeric sheath (7), in that it is manufactured and used as a long length in the form of a straight preform (4), then cut up, shaped and transported as individual units (8) with the right-angle-shaped piece (11) until fixing its shapes, this being plastically straightened by pulling between gripping lengths (9) and (10), the shaped flexible tube or hose being straightened out into substantially rectilinear lengths (13), and the mandrel itself, at the end of the cycle, being decorticated in order to recycle its components. <IMAGE> |
