An apparatus for displaying a residual period of a filter to be used is provided to automatically determine a filter exchange point of time in order to prevent foreign materials from flowing into the filter or restrain remained water from being overflowed in case of exchanging the filter. An apparatus for displaying a residual period of a filter to be used comprises a filter life confirming units(3a,5a), controller(9), flux detecting sensor, and a displaying unit(100). The filter life confirming units are adhered to a pre-process and post-process filters(3,5) which filters raw water(1) flowed into a water ionizer. The controller informs a user of a point of time for filter exchange by controlling and calculating the residual period of the filter to be used.
