<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily judge which of an environmental noise and the failure of communication equipment itself has resulted in the occurrence of a communication failure when radio communication for equipment control is performed between a portable unit carried by the user of a vehicle and the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This communication control system 30 includes a portable unit 10 to be carried by the user of a vehicle 2 and a communication control device 20 for receiving a radio wave transmitted from the portable unit 10, and for controlling on-vehicle equipment 27 and 28 based on a control signal included in the radio wave. The communication control device 20 includes an RSSI circuit for measuring signal strength included in the received radio wave; a device side microcomputer 21 for, when the signal strength is a prescribed threshold or more, deciding whether or not the radio wave is an environmental noise hindering the establishment of radio communication between the portable unit 10 and the communication control device 20; and a hazard lamp 29 for, when the reception radio wave is the environmental noise, notifying the user that it is difficult to establish radio communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
