PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a small number of components and capable of reducing the size of a display panel such as a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: A display device which is installed in a vehicle and displays state information includes a case including a rear-side case 2 and a front-side case 3, and a display panel 41 which is housed in the case and displays the state information. The front-side case 3 includes a first transparent plate 31 and a second transparent plate 32 which allow the state information displayed by the display panel 41 to be viewed from outside, and a front-side case main body 30 to which the first transparent plate 31 and the second transparent plate 32 are attached and which is attached to the rear-side case 2.
