<p>One aspect of the present invention provides a rechargeable battery capable of preventing a temperature protection device from being exposed. The rechargeable battery according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an electrode assembly which includes a first electrode and a second electrode which are arranged on both sides of a separator and a first lead tab and a second lead tab which are extended from the first electrode and the second electrode, respectively, a pouch which receives the electrode assembly, includes a terrace part on one side thereof, and withdraws the first lead tab and the second lead tab through the terrace part, the temperature protection device which has a first surface and a second surface, connects a connection tab and the first lead tab in partial contact with the terrace part to the first surface, attaches the second surface to the terrace part, and exposes a part of the second surface outside the terrace part, and an insulated tape which covers the first lead tab, the connection tab, and the second surface by attaching and surrounding the terrace part on the first lead tab side.</p> |
