摘要 <p>Provided is a polarizing plate fabrication method in which an optical film is bonded to a polarizing film via an adhesive agent. The method comprises the following steps: (A) a coating step in which an adhesive agent is applied to an optical film using a coating machine that has a means for controlling the adhesive agent application thickness; (B) a measurement step in which the thickness of the film before and after the coating step is measured using a radiation film thickness meter and the thickness of the applied adhesive agent is calculated inline from the absolute value of the difference therebetween; (C) a bonding step in which a polarizing film is layered on the adhesive agent surface of the optical film and pressure is applied; and (D) a control step in which a means for controlling the coating thickness is controlled when, in relation to the set thickness (Y) of the adhesive agent, the ratio of the absolute value of the difference between measured thicknesses X and Y of the adhesive that has been obtained is at least a given value,.</p>
