The present invention relates to a vegetable composition for preventing or alleviating climacteric syndrome and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the composition for preventing or alleviating climacteric syndrome includes at least one herb extract selected from the group consisting of Dioscorea batatas, Poria cocos, dried skin from Paeonia suffruticosa and Schisandra chinensis. Therefore, the composition can prevent and alleviate problems caused by a lack of estrogen and has less side effects compared with a composition which is chemically synthesized.
