1. An apparatus, comprising:
a fiber tray configured for coupling with a fiber optic device having a connector, wherein the fiber tray has a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion includes mounting plates for removably coupling the fiber optic device to the fiber tray and a cable storage area that includes an arrangement of spools for storing cable, and wherein the bottom portion only includes the connector when the fiber optic device is attached to the fiber tray, wherein the fiber optic device is an optical network terminal; and a bottom cover movably coupled to the bottom portion of the fiber tray, wherein the bottom cover does not cover the top portion of the fiber tray, the bottom cover configured to move between a closed position to cover the connector and the bottom portion of the fiber tray and an open position to uncover the connector and the bottom portion of the fiber tray such that the bottom cover allows access to the bottom portion of the fiber tray and the connector and does not allow access to the top portion of the fiber tray, wherein the fiber optic device includes a laser connector and wherein the bottom cover is configured to cover the laser connector in the closed position and the bottom cover further includes a viewer configured to allow viewing of the laser connector with the bottom cover in the closed position. |
