The present invention relates to a power supply device for a magnetron. More particularly, the present invention relates to a power supply device for a magnetron with an excellent power output and an extended lifetime by configuring a power supply device by using an insulated gate bipolar transistor and a control circuit which applies an improved control signal to the insulated gate bipolar transistor. The power supply device for a magnetron according to the present invention includes: a unit power module including a capacitor and an insulated gate bipolar transistor which are serially connected to each other; a power supply provided therein with at least one unit power module which is serially connected to each other; a charging circuit to charge the capacitor; and a control circuit to control an operation of the insulated gate bipolar transistor. The control circuit turns off the insulated gate bipolar transistor by applying a negative voltage to a gate of the insulated gate bipolar transistor. |
