removing cell mass from the fermented solution (step 1); adding an alkaline material to the cell mass-removed fermented solution of step 1 to remove produced salts (step 2); concentrating the desalted, fermented solution of step 2 (step 3); removing impurities from the concentrated, fermented solution of step 3 (step 4); and recovering 1,4-diaminobutane from the impurity-removed, fermented solution (step 5). |
