<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem in a mobile object tracking system using a plurality of cameras and an analyzer, that the wider of the tracking range and the larger the number of cameras, or the larger the number of objects to be captured by each camera, the heavier the processing load, and thereby real time object collation is difficult.SOLUTION: When a tracked object is specified for camera A (S301), image of the tracked object is detected from a captured image, and transmitted to a video analyzer along with the attribute information (S302). The video analyzer starts tracking between the cameras, confirms the estimated arrival time of the tracked object for each camera position, at first (S304), and transmits the attribute information of the tracked object to a camera B where arrival is estimated at current time (S305). The camera B replies the image of an object (S306) detected depending on the attribute information thus received (S307). Overall processing load is reduced by limiting the tracked camera, and further limiting to an object image transmission of which from a camera to the analyzer is detected.</p> |
