PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system and an information processing method which do not lower throughput of the entire replication in the case of performing asynchronous and synchronous replication of the same replica database.SOLUTION: An information processing system 10 includes a first database 1, log reflection means 2, and a control information storage part 3. The log reflection means 2 performs first control which reflects a first update log in first data in the first database 1 among update logs representing update contents of data in another database 11 received through a communication path 5, and causes the control information storage part 3 to store control information representing the first data, and second control which determines whether update contents of a second update log among update logs are update contents to the first data on the basis of the control information, and reflects update contents of the second update log in the first database 1 in the case of being update contents of data different from the first data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
